What do you do when you lose the motivation to create? When the ideas seemingly stop coming and any task feels like a burden?
You can give up, call it quits, and put off creating another day. But that will only make the situation worse, as a creative individual you need to create. And…
RIP Mike Wallace, 1918-2012. Wallace was proof that dedication and drive are the most powerful assets one can have. Find some time to kick off your week by watching a few clips from his interviews, many of which are available on YouTube — Wallace’s subjects ranged from Malcolm X to Roger Clemens, every conversation fascinating or hard-hitting, often both. Social Media Today
The site discusses 3 of the biggest mistakes of the current ever growing method of marketing, which of course is ‘Social Media Marketing’. This link is a must read for those businesses either struggling or don’t have much knowledge of the method. There isn’t much advice on social media marketing at the moment ‘well’ on the negative side anyway, as it has come out of the bushes with a bang and took most businesses by surprise leaving even the most up-to-date firms trailing! A must read!
If your looking to expand your business marketing via the internet, well a new path has been opened. There is now another fast growing heavyweight in the ‘Social Media’ industry. Pinterest, this site allows users to share pictures and videos from anywhere on the internet through pinning (sharing, a great new tool is the pin it button), and allowing other users to see the original source or to even repin the photo or video. This constant pinning of photos and videos allows users to reach so many others instantly. For this reason the site is great for business marketing, pictures and videos are also shared ever so quickly allowing businesses to spread their business awareness by a click of a button (literally). If your a business keen on using social media marketing, I urge you to get pinning on Pinterest. There is no excuse, the site is currently used more by users than LinkedIn, Google+ and Twitter combined and is now chasing Twitter down to be the second largest social media site. Most notably before one can be a member of the site one must ask for an invitation, which usually comes within a day, this process gives the site a real friendly and professional vibe.
